I'm new... what was this?
about
InAMonth was a platform for people to challenge themselves to create something in 28 days.
The purpose was to play, to be creative and engage with whatever you had to hand — capturing your creative flow in an authentic and unpolished way.
A submitted piece could be made of absolutely any material, work in progress, loose note, or idea you wanted... as long as it was submitted!
how?
You were given a prompt each month, and then had 28 days to submit your work.
so... only 28 days?
Sometimes you haven’t made something of your own in a long time and getting started is hard, so this was your playground.
It's alright if the glue's still tacky or the paint's still drying, doing a little bit is more than enough.
okay, what did you do?
You responded to a theme, every month, and used it as your opportunity to showcase your works in progress, the loose notes in the bottom of your bag, the crumpled ideas in your desk drawer...
You committed to sharing with your community knowing they would do the same.
who are we
We are individuals with a creative spirit.
In between work, life, responsibilities, and "sleep", there seems to be little time just to make things.
We wanted a platform where anyone can share their creative endeavour of that month, without worrying about perfection, meaning, audience, or quality.
Somewhere to connect with others, and challenge ourselves to make something, anything!
